Ruth E. Farrell, age 92, passed away peacefully in her sleep at the Western Horizons Care Center on March 13, 2013.
Ruth was a fun, a joy and an inspiration to all who knew her. She will truly be missed by her family, the residents and the wonderful caring nurses and staff of Western Horizons Care Center; her primary care physicians, especially Dr. Kent Hoerauf.
Grateful for having shared in Ruth’s life are her two daughters, Mary Markergard and her husband, Roy, of Hettinger, N.D. and Carole Thomas, of Sacramento, Calif.; grandchildren, Gina Abel of Sacramento, Calif., Robbie Abel of Sacramento, Calif., Rod Able, of Las Vegas, Nev., Lorina Markegard, of San Diego, Calif. and Jennifer Reints and her husband, Tryston, of Jeffers, Mont.; two great-grandchildren, Kevin Borrero, Jr. of Sacramento, Calif. and Feliz Able, of Los Angeles, Calif.
Ruth is also survived by her brother, Richard Wimsett and his wife, Janet, from Redlands, Calif. and many nieces and nephews.
Ruth was preceded in death by the love of her life, her husband, Philip Farrell; her parents, Lena and Roy Wimsett; her brother, Don Wimsett; her sister, Mary Louise Wimsett; and many friends.
Private family services will be held for Ruth in Montana and California where the majority of her relatives reside.
