Clothes Closet holds fall meeting, makes donations

The Clothes Closet held its fall meeting on Sept. 24. The Community Clothes Closet has been serving the community since 1978.

It is a non-profit organization that is kept open with the help of approximately 50 volunteers. With the help of theses dedicated volunteers and the many who donate, the Clothes Closet could not exist.

The Clothes Closet donates to various community organizations. Those benefiting from sales this fall include; Dakota prairie Helping Hands, Dakota Concert Association, Adams County Food Pantry, Dakota Buttes Historical Society, Western Horizons Assisted Living, Dakota Prairie Enrichment Center, Reeder Prairie Pioneers, Partners in Health, Hettinger Theater, Reeder, Hettinger and Lodgepole Fire Departments, and Quilters groups located in Hettinger, Reeder and Bucyrus.

The board members of the Clothes Closet are: AdaJean Cornella, president’ Sandi Nelson, vice president’ Donna Olson, secretary; Norma Sipma, treasurer; Ann Wieland, Barb Rose, Sandy Erdmann and Virginia Earsley.
