Health insurance is complicated to understand. It is just as important to make sure the right coverage is chosen, as well as trying to fit into the family budget.

NDSU Extension Service is offering a workshop – Smart Choice Jan. 28 beginning at 2 p.m. at the extension center.

The workshop is two hours, and limited to the first 20 participants to register. The goal is to learn to analyze what kind of insurance fits the individual’s health care needs, and how to access the new Marketplace options will be reviewed. Many times if health insurance is provided through the workplace, it can only be added or changed once or twice a year, making this a good time to help get educated on the complexities of insurance and make the Smart Choice.

To register, contact Julie Kramlich, Adams County Extension Agent at 701-567-2735 by Jan. 27.
