SW Choir sings in Chicago

A group of approximately 90 singers, 18 chaperones, and 5 choir directors from Hettinger, Southheart, Richardton and New England left June 8 from the campus of DSU on a five-day journey to Chicago.

A group of approximately 90 singers, 18 chaperones, and 5 choir directors from Hettinger, Southheart, Richardton and New England left June 8 from the campus of DSU on a five-day journey to Chicago.

After two rehearsals together, the group enjoyed performing in three locations including the DSU bandshell, Elmhurst College in Elmhurst, Illinois and the Jesse Brown VA Medical Center.

The group also stopped at the Wisconsin Dells, watched a White Sox vs. Detroit Tigers game, went to the Willis (Seers) Tower, spent some time at the Museum of Science and Industry, Navy Pier, and the ‘bean’.

Students and chaperones attending from Hettinger were: Michael Shirek, Aric Spratta, Damon Cornelius, Christian Kilwien, Samantha Ruether, McKenna Poss, Bailey Lee, Brianna Robbinson, Elli Kaitfors, Nicole Weaver, Kaycee Schwind, Tayler Burwick, Torrin Poss, Jade Wolff, Skylynne Cummings, Suzie Ruether, Cathy Houle and Gina Joyce.
