The Night Hawks jumped out quickly with a 25-13 first quarter lead and continued to add to their lead the rest of the game.  The Night Hawks pressure defense provided numerous steals and easy layups.  What kept Bowman from falling farther behind was their shooting from the beyond the 3-point line.  They recorded nine beyond the arc, with many of them wide open shots.

High scoring Night Hawk Hayden Sadowsky was held to six points and no 3-pointers, but he had plenty of help as his teammates stepped up in scoring.  Brandon Pierce paced the Night Hawks with 23, with many of his points on drives to the basket.  He also led in rebounds as I had him with eight.  Isaiah Kludt added 20 points, Sam Kludt had 13 and Jarad Mattis finished with 10.

Bowman was led by Alex Bartholomay with 21 which included four 3-pointers.  Andrew Miller added 17 and Dylan Scott had 13.

In the first preliminary game the Night Hawk C team had a 24-18 lead at half time but a turnover filled second half led to a 46-39 loss.  Bowman also shot very well from the free throw line and held a 16-8 advantage at the line.  Brett Christopherson scored 11 and Carson Schalesky led in rebounds with nine, and also added nine blocked shots.

The junior varsity contest was a different story as the Night Hawks jumped out to a quick lead and easily downed the Bulldogs 70-55.  Jaxon Mellmer and Jarad Mattis had a good scoring evening as they tallied 22 and 20 respectfully.  Jordan Dilse led in rebounds with eight, but sprained his ankle late and had to be taken out of the game.
