Moore, BettyBetty is survived by her sons, Ron (Jeanette) Moore, Marshall, MN and Bruce (Cassandra) Moore, Bloomington, Ind.; siblings, Marlys Coryell, Tucson, Ariz. and Ed (Faye) Hasche, Bismarck; and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, cousins, nieces, and nephew’s.  Betty is preceded in death by her husband, Loma (Bob) Moore; parents, Hugh and Louise Hasche; son, Jerald Moore; daughter-in-law, Patricia Moore; and her granddaughter, Laura Moore.

Betty was born on March 15, 1933 in Hettinger to Hugh and Louise (Jensen) Hasche.  She graduated from Hettinger High School and attended Airline Communications School in Minneapolis, Minn. She married Loma “Bob” Moore in 1961.  After moving to Rapid City, Betty began working for the Rapid City Water Department as an Administrative Aid and retired after 32 years.

Betty enjoyed local theater, traveling, cooking, baking and playing Pinochle.  She was a member of the South Maple United Methodist Church and often volunteered and assisted in church functions. She was a member of Golden Link Chapter #14 Order of Eastern Star, Does Drove #33, Moose Lodge Chapter #1137, and Chapter #1221 Women of the Moose.

Funeral services will be held at 11am on Monday, May 9 at South Maple United Methodist Church, with visitation one hour prior to services.  Luncheon will be held at the church, followed by graveside services at Pine Lawn Memorial Park.

All are welcome to attend and celebrate Betty’s life.  Memorials may be directed to Humane Society of the Black Hills or South Maple UMC.
