The Night Hawks were also in the Dickinson Town Crier Meet on May 7.  According to head coach Kelly Pierce, this was a small meet with many athletes at state music. He also added that “this was the first meet for Carlos Martinez. He was involved early in the year, but had to take some time off.  He has been training the past few weeks, but has a ways to go to get back to top shape. Bowman had many athletes at state music.”

The boys team has the ability to compete well at the regional meet, and hopefully we can find a way to finish in the top six as a team.”

“The girls team is competing at a very high level and a top 3 finish in the region is our goal. Trinity with their depth is the favorite, but then it looks to be us, Bowman County, and Killdeer fighting for the team trophies. Killdeer will get around 25 points in the pole vault which puts many of us teams with no pole vault facilities behind to start the meet. We are putting a plan together to try and maximize team points, hopefully it will be enough.”
