Thursday, Marilyn Schwartzbauer, her daughters, Noel Miller and her daughter Braelyn of Bismarck and Joy Tupper and her son Talon of Windsor, CO arrived at the Frey Ranch.

Thursday, Marilyn Schwartzbauer, her daughters, Noel Miller and her daughter Braelyn of Bismarck and Joy Tupper and her son Talon of Windsor, CO arrived at the Frey Ranch.  They traveled to Lemmon and picked up Dorothy Frey from the Nursing Home and brought her out to the ranch to celebrate three birthdays, July 19th, Dorothy, July 25th was Joy’s and August 1st is Braelyn’s. Lynn, Dean and Monte Frey, Jocelyn Eggly and her two boys joined them for supper.  Marilyn, Joy and Noel and families were overnight guests and Friday they took Dorothy back to the nursing home before returning to Bismarck.

Many friends, neighbors and relatives called on Bev Hoffman this past week.

Monday, Susan Gunn, Eric and Liam Fechter called on the Ben Wiechmann family.

Wednesday LeAnn Fechter drove up from Kansas to pick up her son’s who had been spending two weeks with Grandpa and Grandma Gunn.

Shirley Johnson accompanied Gary, Jodi and Lexi Johnson to church Sunday morning.

Zabrina Miller spent Sunday evening through Thursday with her grandparents, Jim and Patsy Miller, so that she could attend Bible School in Bison.

Thursday, Jim and Patsy Miller traveled to Bison Thursday and attended Zabrina’s Bible School program.

Jim and Patsy Miller played cards in Hettinger Friday.

Matt, Christi, Zabrina and Patsy Miller traveled to Bismarck Saturday. They had supper with Archie and Carol Goodrich.

Matt, Christi and Zabrina Miller were Sunday afternoon guests of Jim and Patsy Miller.

Delores Seim and JoAnne Seim were among those who attended the funeral of Keith Hoffman Monday in Lemmon.

Wednesday, Eric and Evan Anderson, Jacob and Triston Seim were visitors of Tim and JoAnne Seim.

Saturday, Fern Lowe, Jim and Connie White of Northome, MN; Corrine Lockert and Horace Seim were guests of Tim and JoAnne Seim.

Brady Ham and two of his children were Tuesday guests of Thelma Sandgren for treats.

Thursday was Thelma Sandgren’s hair day in Bison.  She then had lunch with Steven at the Feedlot.

Thelma Sandgren was a luncheon guest of Lucy Millerian Friday in Hettinger. She then visited her sister, Gladys Vliem at the Assisted Living.

James and Marci Sandgren were Sunday dinner guests of Thelma Sandgren.

Monday, Tiss Johnson and Morell Hirning picked up Oscar and Bertha Klein and they traveled north to the Peace Gardens.  Tiss had never been up in that part of the state.  On their way home, they stopped at Garrison Dam, as Tiss had never seen it either.

Tiss Johnson and Morell Hirning went to Lemmon Tuesday and then down to the south ranch.  They stopped and visited briefly with Gary Johnson and also visited with Vern and Roni Klein on their way back to the north ranch.

Wednesday morning, Tiss Johnson and Morell Hirning traveled to Bismarck to attend the Graveside services for Morell’s aunt, Martha Friesz Fischer. On their way home, they stopped to visit with Oscar and Bertha Klein and give them a picture for their trip Monday.

Tiss Johnson and Morell Hirning made a trip to Mott Thursday morning.

Morell Hirning took Tiss Johnson out to supper in Mott Friday evening. They then traveled to Lemmon and had ice cream. On their way home, they visited at the home of Vern and Roni Klein and family.

Saturday, Tiss Johnson and Morell Hirning traveled to Taylor, ND where they met Neale Hoots, of Killdeer.  Tiss drove the team in the parade and Dean Meyer and Nancy ? who are running for House and Senate in ND were passengers. Later, the Vern Klein family met up with them and went for buggy rides.

Saturday afternoon, Janet Friesz and her son Jase of Great Falls, MT; Emmanuel and Sandra Friesz; Dan, Jeri, Lucas and Derek Anderson all of Thompson Falls, MT and Pauline LaPointe of Plains, MT arrived at Morell Hirnings to spend a week.

Sunday guests of Morell Hirning and Tiss Johnson were Janet and Jase Friesz; Emmanuel and Sandra Friesz; Dan, Jeri, Lucas and Derek Anderson; Pauline LaPointe; Wilbert and Eric Friesz; Aaron Friesz and his friend Sarah; Lars and Diane Dohle and their daughter; Karl and Ida Kufeldt; Bertha Hirning; Oscar and Bertha Klein. They celebrated Lucas and Derek’s 13th birthdays.

Lil Albert attended Vacation Bible School in Bison on Monday thru Thursday. Bridget and the boys went in on Thursday afternoon for their final program and had pizza afterwards.

Friday, the Keller boys went to Grandma Dawns for the afternoon. Bridget went to Hettinger for errands.

Saturday, Albert and Bridget Keller and the boys went camping at Shadehill. They returned home late Sunday morning. Lawrence, Lori, Dakota and Alexsis Keller stopped in on their way back home to Montana.

MEADOW

Marilyn Christman accompanied Gary and Cymbre Christman to Judy and Chuck Lewis’s in Sturgis Friday. She spent a couple days with Judy and Chuck and then returned home with Jane Christman of CO who had come up to spend a week with her parents, Art and Marilyn.

SPRING BUTTE

DeJon, Jeri Lyn, Leif and Mirandi Bakken traveled to Minot and attended the State Fair Thursday and Friday.

Monday, Bob Johnson of Lemmon was a brief visitor at the Vern and Roni Klein home.

Tuesday, Vern and James Klein were visitors at the Bob and Cleo Johnson home in Lemmon.

Tuesday evening, Tiss Johnson and Morell Hirning called on Vern and Roni Klein and family.

Wednesday, Vern and James Klein worked at Grandma Violet’s.

Thursday, Jim and Vern Klein made a trip to Lemmon.

Friday afternoon, Teri Schaff and Logan Velo of Williston, ND arrived at the Vern Klein home.

Morell Hirning and Tiss Johnson called on Vern and Roni Klein.

Late Friday evening, Vern, Roni and James Klein, Jade and Teri Schaff and Logan Velo made a trip to Lemmon and visited at the home of Tyler Dean and Hope Klein to see their new puppy.

Saturday, Vern, Roni and James Klein; Jade and Teri Schaff and Logan Velo traveled to Taylor, ND for the Horse-fest. They all enjoyed a ride in the buggy driven by Tiss Johnson. They visited with Morell Hirning and Larry Goldsmith. They also visited with Jesse and Elyse Crouch and their family and Marie Klein. The Klein family returned home in the late afternoon.

Saturday evening, Roni Klein made supper and Tyler Dean and Hope Klein came out from Lemmon to join them.

Teri Schaff took Jade Schaff, Logan Velo and James Klein fishing Sunday. She then treated Jade and Logan to lunch in Lemmon. Vern and Roni Klein made a trip to Lemmon and stopped at Hope Klein and Tyler Dean’s for a brief visit.
