Save the Date – Sept. 28 – the Foundation at West River Health Services is hosting a “Community Appreciation Banquet” for all “Foundation Nation” members — everyone who has given $1 or more in gifts to the WRHS Foundation’s efforts during the last two years. A free evening meal will be served to everyone who has given – at The Granary, located by Mirror Lake Park, just south of the railroad tracks in Hettinger. Of course, in the event you have not joined the Foundation the last two years, new gifts of $1 or more will be accepted at the door to gain entrance.
The WRHS Foundation would like to show their appreciation and gratitude to the area communities for their amazing support the last two years, where together we have raised over $1 million toward improving our healthcare equipment, scholarships and services at West River Health Services and Western Horizons Living Centers. It has been an awesome two years of forming relationships and fundraising with area businesses, organizations and families from our area communities. Now it’s time to “pay it forward” via a free meal and more importantly, let every donor know where their hard-earned money has been spent for the betterment of our local Western Dakota healthcare.
The tasty meal, catered by Kennedy’s Fresh Foods, will be served from 5 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. at The Granary; followed by a presentation of exactly where your more than $1 million in gifts has went from 6:30 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. You will be amazed at all of the different equipment, projects, services and scholarships that your gifts over the last two years have created. We’re talking about a new MRI Scanner, new MRI Building Addition to the Hospital, new renovations to 42 individual resident rooms at our Western Horizons Care Center, new equipment for 19 different projects through our Partners In Health Program, 35 academic scholarships for 29 area high school and college students to further their education, an Ambulance Appreciation Program reaching 167 ambulance volunteers from eleven area communities, distributions from our Fun Run & Walk proceeds to WRHS, WHLC, and community projects, and there’s more! Following the Foundation presentation, West River Health Services will conduct their Annual Meeting from 7 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. There will be a brief intermission for those of you who would rather not attend the WRHS Annual Meeting.
So please consider yourselves invited to this “Community Appreciation Banquet.” No matter where you’re from, no matter who you are, you are invited – if you’ve given $1 or more in the last two years or will give $1 or more to the WRHS Foundation on Sept. 28. With this investment, you will gain admission for a scrumptious meal and an explanation of where your more than $1 million in gifts over the last two years have been utilized. See you at the “Community Appreciation Banquet” at The Granary, Sept. 28! Every Patient. Every Day. No Matter What. West River Health Services. Here for you!
