Ed Babitzke of Tuscon, AZ arrived Monday at the Frey ranch.  He was Calvin’s cousin.  He spent through Thursday visiting.

Tuesday, Ed Babitzke and Lynn Frey visited with Dorothy Frey at the Five Counties Nursing home.  They had dinner in town.  Dean and Monte Frey also spent time visiting with Ed.

Friday, Lynn Frey traveled to Brookings and took in the SDSU Dedication of the Cow/Calf research facility. That evening, Lynn visited with his cousin Mark Kriesel at Summit, SD. Lynn returned home Saturday morning.

Bill Hourigan’s birthday party at the Legion in Lemmon.

Sunday afternoon, Lynn Frey visited with Dorothy Frey at the Five Counties Nursing Home.  Dorothy’s sister, Betty and Rolo Stoltenburg of Watertown arrived Sunday to visit with Dorothy and they also visited with Darlene Kolb.  Betty and Rolo are staying in Lemmon for a few days.

Tuesday, Vince and Susan Gunn played Bridge in Hettinger.

Vince and Susan Gunn attended a container sale at Summerville Saturday.

Vince Gunn and Bill Dickinson were among those who attended Thelma Sandgren’s 90th birthday party at her ranch Saturday.

Thursday afternoon Patricia Keller came to the Albert Kellers to watch Lil Albert Korbin and Bodee while Albert and Bridget traveled to Bismarck.

Friday morning the Kellers welcomed Teagan Ann and Terek Robert to the world.

Wednesday, John and Shirley Johnson made a trip to Lemmon.

Friday Morgan Minor took Shirley Johnson to Hettinger for shopping and lunch.

Shirley Johnson accompanied Morgan Minor to Thelma Sandgren’s 90th birthday Open House at the Sandgren ranch Saturday afternoon.

Tye Anderberg called on Morell Hirning and Tiss Johnson Monday morning.

Gary, Kirsten and Aaron Friedt were Wednesday supper guests of Tiss Johnson and Morell Hirning.

Thursday, Tiss Johnson and Morell Hirning traveled to Dickinson, stopped briefly in Hettinger and then on to Lemmon where they attended Lexi Johnson’s volleyball game.

Tiss Johnson and Morell Hirning visited with Vern and Roni Klein and family Thursday evening.

Friday, Tiss Johnson and Morell Hirning made trips to New Leipzig, Elgin and then on to Bison where they attended the Football game. They spent the night at the south ranch.

Tiss Johnson and Morell Hirning were Saturday evening guests of Oscar and Bertha Klein.

Violet Walth of Hebron was a Sunday dinner guest of Tiss Johnson and Morell Hirning.  They picked apples in the afternoon and had lunch before Violet returned to her home.

Jim Miller traveled to Scranton Monday. Patsy made a trip to Hettinger.

Jim and Patsy Miller, Matt, Christi and Zabrina attended the Wyle’s Wild West Show, part of the Dakota Concert series in Hettinger Tuesday evening.

Jim and Patsy Miller attended the Buck sale in Hettinger Wednesday.

Jim and Patsy Miller left Thursday to travel to Hereford, TX to visit Jim’s brother Willie Miller.

Matt Miller came out to the Miller ranch Thursday.  Christi and Zabrina Miller joined him Friday and they spent through Monday.

Tim and JoAnne Seim visited at the Chet and Mandy Anderson home Thursday afternoon.

Eric and Evan Anderson spent Friday evening with Tim and JoAnne Seim.

Mark and Linda Sandgren; Steve and Susie Sandgren; Leslie and Tucker Kling and Wayne Steven’s took Thelma Sandgren out for dinner for her birthday.

Bill and Margaret Dickinson took Mark and Thelma Sandgren to Hettinger for supper.  James and Marci joined them.

Linda Sandgren came out from Lemmon several times during the week to help Mark get ready for the party.

Approx sixty people helped Thelma Sandgren celebrate her 90th birthday Saturday afternoon.  Ken Krisle, Lynn Frey, Bill and Margaret Dickinson joined the Sandgren family for supper that evening.




Friday, Anthony Schaff of Dickinson came down to take James Klein deer hunting. Matthew Mollman was a weekend guest at the Vern Klein home.

Saturday, Hope Klein was a supper guest at the Vern Klein home. Anthony and James and Matthew were also here after deer hunting. Jesse Crouch was also with the boys during the hunt. Hope spent some time with Jade Schaff at Grandma Violet Klein’s.

Sunday, Anthony Schaff, James Klein, Matthew Mollman, and Jesse Crouch were hunting. At noon Matthew was returned to his home. Jesse was dropped off at his pickup in the afternoon to return home. Anthony and James were supper guests of Vern and Roni Klein. Anthony went home. Hope was an afternoon visitor for a short time and also visited at Grandma Violet’s.
