Local FFA member selected to sing on national chorus

Musonda, a sophomore and the daughter of Dirk and Deidre Mack, was selected to be a member of the 2016 National FFA Chorus where she sang with 80 other FFA members.

The National FFA Chorus performed several times during the national convention and expo, adding excitement and motivation to the sessions through their music. Ebony was selected to sing a solo at the beginning of one of the songs when sang at the 4th general session. Ebony sang in front of over 14,000 people at each session.

Musanda joined fellow chorus members from across the states in Indianapolis for rehearsals three days before the convention and expo begins. The chorus sang and preformed for over 1500 state officers from every state in the nation at the largest luncheon in Indianapolis on Monday, October 17, 2016.

The National FFA Chorus is sponsored by Dow Agrosciences as a special project of the National FFA Foundation, North Dakota FFA Foundation, Scranton FFA Chapter and Scranton FFA alumni.
