•Hettinger Back Pack program

The Hettinger High School Student Council is once again raising money for the Hettinger Back Pack Program.  Last Friday Nov. 18, 2016 we held a ‘Hats for Back Packs’ day.  Students in grades kindergarten through seniors were allowed to bring a dollar and wear a hat all day.  Students that participated also received a sucker.

We raised a total of $330.00 with $49 from the kindergarten class alone. The students at Hettinger Public School are to be commended for raising money for such a great cause.

•Water Bottle Filler

After two years of raising money, the high school student council feels ready to move with the purchase of a water bottle filler for the High School hallway.  Many students choose to drink water and re-use a water bottle from home.  Unfortunately, a standard water fountain does not work very well to fill them.  A committee has been formed to work with administration, a plumber, and supplier for the water bottle filler.  This is something that all students and staff of Hettinger Public School will benefit from having.  Thank you for supporting the Hettinger High School Student Council.
