Area students make academic lists

Local students attending area high education institutions recently achieved high marks and were included on their respected university’s Dean’s Lists.

Local students attending area high education institutions recently achieved high marks and were included on their respected university’s Dean’s Lists.

Black Hills State University in Spearfish—A total of 742 students maintained a grade point average (GPA) of 3.5 or higher while taking at least 12 credit hours.

From Hettinger, Kayla Chadwick, Mariah Jahner, Ashley McFarland, Bailey Sadowsky, Katie Wolff were named to the list. Sadowsky and Wolff achieved a 4.0 GPA.

From Reeder, Michaela Erickson also made the list.

North Dakota State University—A student must earn a 3.50 grade point average or higher and be enrolled in at least 12 class credits to qualify for the dean’s list.

From Hettinger Bailey R. Lee (Veterinary Technology), Vanessa A. Rickertsen (English Education), and Kayce N. Schwind (Veterinary Technology) made the list.
