Night Hawks do well at Mile City Tourney

Miles City, Mont., put on their 59th Cowboy Invitational Wrestling Tournament on January 13-14 and the Night Hawks did very well finishing fourth out of 26 teams.

Miles City, Mont., put on their 59th Cowboy Invitational Wrestling Tournament on January 13-14 and the Night Hawks did very well finishing fourth out of 26 teams.  The teams were all from Montana and Wyoming with the exception of the Night Hawks and Dickinson.

The top five teams were Colstrip, Mont., 166 points; Billings Skyview, Mont., 154.5; Campbell Co., Wyo., 154; Night Hawks 142; and Moorecroft, Wyo., 126.

59th Cowboy Invitational Tournament Results for the Night Hawks:

103 – Conner Andress (15-14) went 1-2 and scored 4.00 team points.

113 – Mason Defoe (19-7) went 3-1, placed 2nd and scored 24.00 team points.

113 – Cade Warbis (16-11) went 2-3, placed 6th.

120 – Kyle Burwick (31-3) went 4-0, placed 1st and scored 27.00 team points.

126 – Chris Fisher (11-8) went 1-2 and scored 3.00 team points.

126 – Ezra Weichmann (0-2) went 0-2

132 – Ty Warbis (13-12) went 0-2

132 – Cale Schalesky (12-5) went 2-3, placed 8th and scored 8.00 team points.

(Note:  Cale was injured and could not wrestle his last two matches)

138 – Ben Dalley (8-22) went 0-2

160 – Ethan Anderson (32-10) went 5-1, placed 3rd and scored 20.00 team points.

170 – Issac Anderson (20-4) went 4-0, placed 1st and scored 32.00 team points.

205 – Jacob Schalesky (20-6) went 4-1, placed 3rd and scored 24.00 team points.
