Adams County 4H’ers stay busy with livestock judging contests

Junior 4-H team placed second: Tatum Fitch (High Individual), Tate Nash (10th High Individual)

Senior 4-H team placed second: Tucker Ellingson (High Individual), Beth Lien (10th High Individual)

•State 4-H Livestock Judging Contest

The Adams County Livestock Judgers attended State Livestock judging contest in Fargo on the NDSU Campus on March 4. There were 80 participants in the senior 4-H division and 104 participants in junior 4-H division. Great season to the livestock judgers and big Thank You to our great volunteers Dave Pearson, Caitlin Pearson and Kalen Manthei that coached the teams.

Senior 4-H team placed sixth overall: Mac Stuber (Ninth High Individual Overall, Fourth in Swine), Tucker Ellingson (Fourth in Beef & 5th in Reasons), Zach Rickertsen (Fifth in Sheep), Mitch Stuber and Tucker Ellingson made the top 50 percent.
