$6,700 Hole-In-One Contest at “Foundation Nation” Scramble Golf; With Jaycee’s BINGO

The West River Health Services Foundation is hosting their 3rd Annual “Foundation Nation” Scramble Golf Tournament on Sunday, Father’s Day, June 18th, at the Hettinger Country Club. Everyone, especially Dad, and including the kids and inexperienced golfers, are welcome to attend. It’s a family fun-filled, 9-hole scramble golf tournament; with cornhole boards, card and board games for non-golfers. And you read that headline right – on Hole #8, from 150 yards for the men, 135 yards for the women, you have a chance to win $6,700 with a hole-in-one! Yes the cup is only 4 inches in diameter, but the ball is only one inch! You never know! Stranger things have happened!

You can sign up your own team as a foursome or fivesome; or you can sign up individually or as a couple and we’ll place you on a fun team! To register, please call the Hettinger Country Club at 701-567-2339 or Ted at the WRHS Foundation at 701-567-3666 prior to June 16th.  For only $30, you can enjoy the golf, the meal and all of the awesome prizes. Yes, we’ll have amazing team prizes, hole prizes, kids prizes and door prizes. The golf begins on Sunday with a 1:30pm shotgun start!

In the event you wish not to display your golfing prowess, we are also offering Hettinger Jaycee’s BINGO at 4:00pm! That’s right, the amazing community BINGO that everyone has enjoyed the last few winters, is coming to the Hettinger Country Club for this special event. All of the proceeds from the golf entry fees and any other gifts, go toward our Partners In Health Club and other improvements to West River and Western Horizons. We’re not exactly sure how many games of BINGO we’ll be playing, somewhere around 8-12 games, with hopes of having a BLACKOUT BINGO for one final BLACKOUT blast.

Then we will provide an amazing meal, which is included in the $30 entry fee for the golfers. We will ask for a $10 or more gift to the Foundation, if you plan to enjoy the meal as well as the BINGO, cornhole, board or card games. Once again, all of the proceeds go toward improvements to West River Health Services and Western Horizons Living Centers.

We hope to see all of you at this terrific event. The sun will be shining, the wind will be nill, the BINGO will be fun, the meal and prizes will be terrific! You might WIN! Come join us – from the south end of Main Street in Hettinger, the Hettinger Country Club is about 2 miles east and 2 miles south. See you there! For $6,700 for one golf shot and maybe a winning BINGO card? Why not?
