Thursday afternoon, Tiss Johnson and Morell Hirning made a trip to Mott and picked up Morell’s aunt, Ida Kufeldt.  They then met his aunt Pauline LaPointe and her friend Keith Caldwell for lunch.  After lunch, they went to the nursing home to visit with Ida and Pauline’s sister, Bertha Hirning and with Ida’s husband Karl Kufeldt.  Tiss and Morell returned Ida to her home and Pauline and Keith traveled on to MN to visit Keith’s uncle.

Tiss Johnson and Morell Hirning traveled to Beach, ND Friday afternoon to attend the Mott/Regent/New England Wildfire football game against Beach.  After the game, Tiss and Morell spent the night in Medora.  Saturday, they visited with Myron and Jodi Schweitzer, drove through the Theodore Roosevelt National park and returned home.

Saturday evening, Tiss Johnson and Morell Hirning traveled to New Leipzig and worked at the Biergarden for an hour.

Sunday, Tiss Johnson and Morell Hirning attended the Coal Springs Vendor Fair and Flea Market south of Meadow, SD. They then visited with Gary and John Johnson at the barn and on their way north, visited at the home of Vern and Roni Klein and their guests.

Lynn Frey made a trip to Ft. Meade Wednesday.

Lynn Frey traveled to Bison Thursday.

Friday, Cheryl Seim, Kim Colville and JoAnne Seim were among those who attended the funeral of Jodi Bartell in Spearfish.

Tim and JoAnne Seim; Justin and Jo Seim and boys and Bonnie Haynes were among those who attended Wilford Seim’s 99th Birthday party at the Nursing home in Lemmon.

Jim and Connie White, Fern Lowe and Norman Seim came from MN to see Wilford Seim on his birthday. They also visited with friends and relatives in the area.

Jim and Patsy Miller traveled to Bison Tuesday.

Jim and Patsy Miller traveled to Lemmon Wednesday.

Patsy Miller and Archie Goodrich picked Bill Robertson up in Aberdeen Friday and drove to Madison, SD. Saturday they attended the funeral of Mary (Corky) Hagen. They returned home Sunday.

Matt, Christi and Zabrina Miller spent Sunday afternoon with Jim and Patsy Miller.

Florence Hoff; Bill and Margaret Dickinson; Leslie, Cody and Tucker Kling; Ken Krisle; Kathy Johnson; James and Marci Sandgren were among those who visited with Thelma Sandgren this past week at the Five Counties Nursing home in Lemmon.

Monday, Albert and Bridget Keller attended Korbins preschool social in Bison.

Friday, Bridget, Little Albert and the twins traveled to Bismarck for Terek and Teagen’s well check.


Art and Jane Christman attended the Coal Springs Threshing Bee Sunday near Meadow.

Janet Jorgenson attended a training for the National Agriculture Statistic’s training.

Janet Jorgensen traveled to Rapid City one day this past week.


Roni and Hope Klein made a trip to Hettinger Tuesday. They briefly visited with Sylvia Engle.

Jim and Vern Klein made a trip to Dickinson Friday.

Jade and Roni Klein made a trip to Lemmon Friday to pick up Hope from work.

Vern, Roni, Hope and James Klein and Jade Schaff traveled to New Leipzig Saturday and met up with Anthony Schaff and attended Octoberfest. They watched the parade and had dinner there and enjoyed the craft fair they had there.  They also got to visit with Jesse and Elyse Crouch and their girls, and lots of other friends and relatives.

Sunday evening, Barb Umiker was a visitor.  Tiss Johnson and Morell Hirning were brief visitors.
