Lilaine Brawner and Carmen Strid have been instrumental in bringing back the Hettinger Craft show after one year absence in 2013. The community was so disappointed in not having one that Lilaine and Carmen decided to renew the tradition. They also decided that any profits made would be donated back to certain local activities or to fundraisers to deserving people in need of help. The funds came from table rentals minus the cost of the facility and advertisements.

For the Record
Their first one was at the Senior Citizen Center in 2014 and they had to turn back crafters due to lack of space. The profits went to the Center. In 2015 they expanded their craft show by using the Legion Club along with the Center. Funds were donated to the Legion Auxiliary, Legion Club and Center.
They then decided that they would rent the Armory in 2016 which gave them more room and all under one roof. Profits were donated to the Tammy & Kevin Schneider fundraiser, After Prom Party and the Ministerial Association.
Their 2017 craft show is scheduled for Nov. 11 at the Hettinger Armory, 9:AM-4:00PM. They haven’t decided yet where or who they will donate the profits to. Put the date on your calendar and drop by to check-out all the crafts.
They would also like to thank all the volunteers who help them with putting the craft show on.
