On Sunday, Oct. 22 the Hettinger FFA Chapter hosted a pancake and sausage supper at one of our local restaurants – Scruffy’s. That Sunday nearing one hundred people showed up to support our local FFA Chapter. The sausage was donated by Anthony and Jodi Larson.

That night Tucker Ellingson and Zach Rickertsen cooked the pancakes, along with Mack Buckmier, Rebecca Knutson and Kaden Schauer served sausage and pancakes to the people. Rebecca Knutson ran the fresh pancakes from the griddle to the serving line. Tatum Fitch welcomed customers are the front desk. Michelle Witt, Samantha Knutson and Miami Pekas managed the drinks, condiments and thanked customers for attending the supper. The money raised Sunday night will help toward this year’s travels and expenses. Our chapter’s hopes are to attend the National FFA Convention next November in Indianapolis, Indiana. We thank everyone that came to support our chapter.
Hettinger FFA also served a hotdog meal to the nearly 100 trap shooters/target shooters at the Tanner Strand Hunt the Saturday before. Michelle Witt and Tatum Fitch served each hunter with some warm food and a friendly smile.
