The Dickinson Trinity Titans came into the game with a 4-0 record and averaging 64 points a game.  The Night Hawks played a tough zone defense that helped take away the height advantage the Titans have.

The Night Hawks held a 10-9 at the end of the first quarter, but the Titans chipped away at the lead in each of the final three quarters.  The Titans full-court press bothered the Night Hawks at times causing turnovers.  A 10-0 run in the third quarter gave the Titans a 12 point lead

Even though the Night Hawks lost, they showed how well they can play as they head into regional play on Jan. 8 at Beulah.  But before that they will participate in the annual Mandan Holiday Tournament, Dec. 26-28.

Scoring for the Night Hawks were Warrick Dilse 11, Jacob Dix 9, Connor Dilse 7, Jeran Anderson 3, and Gabriel Eaton 2.  Trinity only won the battle of the boards, 25- 21, but had just 14 turnovers while the Night Hawks had 23.
