Reeder resident’s bond set at $25,000

David Oakes’, 46, of Reeder, bond was set at $25,000, stemming from multiple charges related to possession with intent to deliver controlled substances.

On Dec. 19, authorities executed a search warrant at Oakes’ residence they acquired two days prior.  According to a news release, multiple controlled substances were found on the property.

The search warrant resulted in the following charges:

-Possession with intent to manufacture/deliver – Marijuana

-Possession with intent to manufacture/deliver – Methamphetamine

-Possession with intent to manufacture/deliver – MDMA 

-Unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia – Use – SI, SII, SIII – 2nd offense

-Possession with intent to manufacture/deliver – Controlled substance analog

-Possession with intent to manufacture/deliver – Controlled substance analog

According to the Adams County Sheriff’s office, several bags of marijuana, or approximately two pounds worth, was taken from the residence, along with 70 grams of methamphetamine.

Other items seized during the search were TCH concentrate packaging materials and other drug paraphernalia.

The agencies involved with the operation included the Adams County Sheriff’s Office, Southwest Narcotics Task Force, North Dakota Highway Patrol and the North Dakota Bureau of Criminal Investigation. The Southwest Narcotics Task Force is comprised of agents assigned from the Dickinson Police Department, Stark County Sheriff’s Office and the North Dakota Bureau of Criminal investigation.

The Southwest Narcotics Task Force is operated with funding and support from Adams, Billings, Bowman, Golden Valley, Hettinger, Slope and Stark Counties as well as the cities of Belfield, Dickinson, and Medora.
