On January 24 the Night Hawk girls competed against the Glen Ullin/Hebron Bearcats. The Bearcats came into the game with a region record of 5-1. The Night Hawks quickly got on top of the Bearcats by outscoring them 22-3 in the first quarter. At half they were leading 46-19 and won going away with a 78-41 win.

Freshman Bailey Pierce had her best offensive performance with 22 points which included six 3-pointers for the Night Hawks. Abbie Kludt 13 and Alyssa Andress 12 were other top scorers for the winners. Freshman Kinsey Zuroff led the Bearcats with 21.
Up next for Night Hawks were the Heart River Cougars. Heart River had around 25 turnovers in the first half and was trailing 32-22 at half. Sam Oase and Alyssa Andress led the Night Hawks in the first half with 16 and 12 points respectfully. The third quarter put the Cougars behind even further as they were outscored to 17-6. The Night Hawks went on to win 61-46 and brought their overall record to 15-1, and 7-0 in the region. Heart River dropped to 9-7 overall and 3-4 in the region.
Scoring for the Night Hawks were Oase 26, Andress 23, Abbie Kludt and Briana Sanford 6. Leading the Cougars were Jersey Filkowski with 12 and Caylee Wilke 11.
