Hettinger wrestling club action

Twelve young wrestlers from the Hettinger Wrestling Club honed their wrestling skills at the 2019 Bismarck Gorilla Folkstyle Tourney on February 23 with 42 other teams competing.  A few notable accomplishments were Olivia Dobitz placed first with an 11-0 decision and a fall, Nathaniel Dobitz placed first with two falls and two major decisions and Logan Mausehund placed first with a decision, two falls and a forfeit.    

 

6U (Sub-Bantam) 33-38: Olivia Dobitz’s place is 1st and went 2-0. 

8U (Bantam) 47-49: Treyson Johnson’s place is 2nd and went 3-1. 

8U (Bantam) 55-57 A: Nathaniel Dobitz’s place is 1st and went 4-0. 

8U (Bantam) 82-89: Elijah Timm’s place is 2nd and went 3-1. 

10U (Intermediate) 55-58: Dawson DeFoe went 0-4. 

10U (Intermediate) 59-61: Cooper Guthrie’s place is 3rd and went 2-2. 

10U (Intermediate) 65-66: Liam Kennedy’s place is 4th and went 1-3. 

10U (Intermediate) 74-78: Logan Mausehund’s place is 1st and went 4-0. 

10U (Intermediate) 75-79: Cyrus Johnson’s place is 3rd and went 2-2. 

10U (Intermediate) 90-92: Trig Kelso’s place is 3rd and went 2-2. 

12U (Novice) 96-100: Kyler Schalesky’s place is 2nd and went 3-1. 

14U (Schoolboy) 93-97: Hayden DeFoe’s place is 3rd and went 2-2. 

 

Dan Skogen was the only Hettinger entrant at the 2019 Beach Youth Wrestling Tournament on Feb. 22, with 18 other teams entered.  Dan placed third and went 1-2 in the 7 & 8, 57-60 division.
