ND Oilseed Council elects District and County Representatives

Sunflower district elections were recently held in District VII electing Josh Greff of Regent (Hettinger) ND, to his first, three -year term on the North Dakota Oilseed Council Board.
District VII includes the counties of McKenzie, Dunn, Mercer, Oliver, Stark/Billings, Golden Valley, Slope, Hettinger, Bowman, Adams, Grant, Sioux and Morton. Elected as sunflower county representatives in these counties are: Dean Knell, Hazen (Mercer); Bill Kessel, Belfield (Billings), Miles Hanson, Bowman (Slope); Art Ridl (Stark); Jeff Brown, Bowman (Bowman); Steve Wegner, Reeder (Adams); Lonnie Henke, Hannover (Oliver); Terr y Nagel, Carson (Grant).
Josh and his wife Bridget farm north of Mott. They plant a variety of crops including sunflowers, wheat, canola, corn, soybeans and cover crops. They also run 150 head of cow-calf pairs. Josh received his plumbing certificate from NDSCS and currently holds his Journeyman’s Plumbing License. Josh and Bridget have 3 daughters.
As a National Sunflower Association Board member, Greff will be involved in providing direction and setting policies for numerous NSA programs in market development, promotion and research. The NSA conducts programs in over 20 countries around the world for both confection sunflower and sunflower oil.
