Trinity continues to dominate the South West Region in both the boys and girls division as they both won their respective division in the Killdeer meet on May 9.  Trinity boys captured nine of the events.

Dickinson Trinity followed up the Killdeer meet by winning both the girls and boys competition at the Hollinger Classic at Bowman on May 11.  Bowman County and Mott-Regent-New England (MRNE) made an effort to contest the defending Southwest Region champions.  MRNE got within 12.5 points of Trinity in the girls division while the battle in the boys division was for second place.  Bowman Co. squeaked by MRNE by three points, 146-143.
