Members that were not in a competition attended the Titan Tour in Fargo. Students commented on the positive experience of the tour. There was also a Career and Education Fair right outside the Memorial Union, which hundreds of FFA members took advantage of. As soon as all of our members were done competing for the afternoon and the rest were back from the Titan Tour, our chapter went off campus for a quick chapter bonding time. We lost the little energy jumping at Sky Zone. We then grabbed a quick bite to eat at Kroll’s Diner before racing back to get back into official dress for the next session. Officer books were one of the results at the session. Reporters’ Book received – Gold, Treasurers’ Book-Silver, Secretary’s’ Book-Silver, and Vice-President. We were very proud of our books as they continue to be more competitive each year. The Keynote speaker for the evening session was Gian Paul Gonzalez. His speech was motivating and inspiring. That evening we enjoyed the mind games, comedy hypnosis with Jared Sherlock.

We had one participant for Nursery/Landscape Contest. Paris Ross did a great job in this event.
Cade Michels took the challenge of Basic Agricultural Mechanics and did an amazing job.
One of the big highlights of the convention was the Parents’ and Sponsors’ Reception/Dinner. Rob and Pat Buckmier joined Mrs. Schauer to support Mack Buckmier as he received his State FFA Degree. It is the highest honor that the State Association can bestow upon a member. Mack’s father, Rob Buckmier, not only received his State FFA Degree but went on to earn his American FFA Degree, which is the highest award earned in the FFA Organization. No pressure Mack. It was a great honor to watch Mack walk across the stage to accept this prestigious award. We are all so very proud of Mack for all his hard work and dedication! He will definitely be dearly missed by fellow chapter members and advisor.
Many members showed off their dancing moves at the FFA Dance that evening and enjoyed hanging out with old and new found friends.
