The Post 115 Bears ended their regular season play with a 12-9 win over the Bismarck B Capitals. The Bears tallied five runs in the fourth inning and were led by Ty Warbis and Jacob Dix with run scoring doubles that gave them an 8-2 lead. They added three more runs in the fifth but the Capitals tighten the score in the sixth with seven runs to get within two. The Bears added one in their half of the sixth and held the Capitals to no runs in the seventh.
Jacob Dix knocked in four runs for the Bears including a home run while Jacob Svihovec, Dix, Jacob Hetzel and Cade Warbis all managed multiple hits. Hetzel picked up the pitching win for the Bears allowing one hit and two runs over five innings, striking out five. Nolan Miller took the loss for the Bismarck B Capitals. He went four and two-thirds innings, allowing ten runs on 12 hits and striking out one.
The Bears ended the regular season as the first place team in District One. The District One tourney runs July 25-26 at Hettinger. Others in the tourney are Post 144 Belfield/South Heart, Post 189 Hazen and Post 1 Bismarck B Capitals.
