Mott-Regent New England defeats Night Hawks

The Wildfire controlled the line of scrimmage and scored a touchdown in each quarter to win 28-6 at Mott on August 30.

Junior Samuel Huether averaged 8.8 yards per carry totaling 141 for the game and scored three TDs for the Wildfire. They also outgained the Night Hawks on the ground 370 yards to 86.
Jeran Anderson rushed for 65 yards, went 3-12 good for 48 yards and tallied the only TD for the Night Hawks. Cade Warbis added 42 yards rushing. Defensively Ty Warbis and Anderson led the Night Hawks in tackles and assists.
Next up for the Night Hawks is Lemmon who defeated the Wildfire 52-14 on August 23. Lemmon also defeated Newell 56-6 and looking at their roster they have 33 players out and have good size. The game is scheduled to be at Hettinger. Up Next for Mott-Regent/New England is Grant Co. /Flasher and a key game in Region 4 is Linton (2-0) taking on Kidder Co. (1-0) on September 6.
