Clothes Closet holds semi-annual meeting

The Clothes Closet held its fall semi-annual meeting on Oct. 2, 2019 at the Senior Center in Hettinger. Thirty-nine volunteers enjoyed a delicious meal before the meeting.

Staff Report 

The Clothes Closet is a non-profit thrift store providing used clothing, small household items and vintage items six days a week. We would like to thank all of you who donate these items and a special thank you to all of our volunteers. As a result, we were able to give money to the following: Reeder, Hettinger, & Lodgepole Fire Departments, Hettinger Baseball, Close-Up, Food Pantry, Helping Hands, Backpack, Snack, and Hettinger School Education programs, West River Emergency Medical Services, Adams County library, Dakota Buttes Museum, Reeder American Legion and Auxiliary, Dakota Prairie Enrichment Center, Hettinger and Reeder Senior Centers, and Quilters from Hettinger, Reeder, and Bucyrus.
The board members of the Clothes Closet are President Virginia Earsley, Vice President Myrna Mertz, Secretary Sandy Erdman, Treasurer Barb Rose, Deb Beld, and Lisa Harpster. Anyone interested in volunteering may contact any board member.
