On the evening of May 2, the Lincoln Ele mentary students pre sented a fun “End of the Year” concert. Beach’s school music teacher, Tiffany Stonehocker, directed the fast-paced program.

A mainstay on Main Street in Regent has new faces behind the counter, as brothers D.J. and Alan Mosbrucker take over the Regent Garage and Regent Oil Company from Gary and Brenda Wiseman.

Hettinger-Candidates interested in serving in a local government position have filed to have their names placed on the ballot for school board, and city and county offices.

This past weekend, I attended the 138th Annual North Dakota Newspaper Association Convention in Mandan. Now that I think about it, I tend to write a column every year about the convention.

The Elgin City Council had a light agenda, completing business in half an hour during its regular meeting May 2, as it discussed making a set of speed limit signs more visible and approved selling

I'm not saying things are weird, but things are weird out there. Clowns to the left of you, jokers to the right, here you are, stuck in the newspaper with me.

The Week Ahead: A drying pattern is anticipated over the next week, as rain chances greatly diminish compared to the past few weeks.

We have had a busy spring at the Adams County Library. In April we had celebrations for not only National Library Week, but also for staff birthdays!

On May 2nd Adams County Extension, in cooperation with the Progressive Ag. Foundation, hosted Farm Safety Day at the Adams County fairgrounds. Our sponsors stepped up in many ways.

Feed stores are dangerous for people like me this time of year.
